Miley may have just taken herself out of the Coachella 2027 race.
According to a report from Hits Daily Double, Miley was in demand for a headline slot at next year’s festival but turned it down. Coachella has not announced its 2027 lineup, so for now this is still firmly in the reported-not-confirmed category.
And naturally, the internet immediately went somewhere else: the Super Bowl.
Did Miley turn down Coachella for the Super Bowl?
That part is not confirmed.
Miley has been floated as a possible candidate for the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show, and the timing makes the rumour especially tempting. Super Bowl LXI is set for Los Angeles in February, while Miley is beginning a major new era with her tenth studio album Bass Persuades, due September 18.
But there is currently no official announcement naming Miley as the halftime performer, and no reliable report establishing that she rejected Coachella specifically because of the Super Bowl.
So the clean version is: Miley reportedly turned down Coachella. The Super Bowl connection is still speculation.
Miley is returning to the stage anyway
What we do know is that Miley has two rare full concerts booked at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18.
That alone is notable. Full Miley shows have become increasingly uncommon, and the Hollywood Bowl dates arrive just weeks after Bass Persuades is released.
Which means even if Coachella is off the table, something bigger could still be building.
Super Bowl? Maybe.
Confirmed? Not yet.
